Request an evidence review

Request an evidence review to answer clinical questions, inform service development, research or commissioning.

Our evidence reviews help inform patient care, guideline or service development, research bids or commissioning. 

We do not carry out evidence reviews for coursework purposes. Please contact your university for help, or book onto one of our teaching sessions.

Evidence for clinical or management questions

Evidence to inform clinical questions, policy and guidelines, business cases, quality improvement and audit projects. Also useful to inform presentations, teaching and patient information. Reviews will be provided rapidly to meet your deadline.

  • On request, our clinical knowledge specialists can attend your meeting to  present a summary of your report.
  • If your question relates to drug interactions or prescribing in complex clinical situations, and your work for UHSussex, please contact your ward pharmacist or specialist lead for the appropriate area.

Evidence reviews for research

Ask us for evidence reviews or scoping reviews to improve research proposals and plan your projects.

Please give two to three weeks’ notice for evidence reviews for research.

We ask for co-authorship or acknowledgement in any resulting published papers or presentations. Our report will detail how to credit us.

Systematic reviews

We carry out advanced searches of the relevant databases and other sources, remove duplicates and offer advice on reference management software for systematic reviews. We will also write up the search methodology for your report and abstract.

Systematic reviews take longer to produce and deadlines will be agreed with you              individually.
