Ross Care is the wheelchair service provider for all NHS prescriptions in East Sussex. We also provide specialist postural services such as armchairs and shower chairs.
Service users need to be referred to the service through a healthcare practitioner such as your GP or an Occupational Therapist.
Our services
Our dedicated team will assess and prescribe wheelchairs, postural support and pressure cushions to meet your clinical and mobility needs. Our repair team will repair and maintain equipment provided to you. We work closely with community teams to ensure you receive a holistic assessment and are aware of all the options available to you.
Static seating service
East Sussex Wheelchair Service also provide posturally supportive shower chairs/commodes and armchairs. A repair service is also available for this equipment. Referrals must come from an Adult Social Care Occupational Therapist or Community Occupational Therapist/physiotherapist who has assessed the client as needing specialist supportive static seating.
