The conduct of effective and ethical research requires that we recruit and retain willing participants and treat them appropriately throughout and beyond the research process. This can require particular care when placing boundaries on the relationship between researchers and participants. We will discuss the care required in a research setting when recruiting, researching with, and disengaging from those you involve in your work.
